Clear Skies Ahead: Flight Operations Resume Across Pakistan
Flight operations have officially resumed at all major airports across Pakistan, including Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, following a brief suspension caused by escalating regional tensions with India.
The closure, which came in the wake of military developments under Operation Bunyan Marsoos (Iron Wall), had led to a temporary halt in both domestic and international flight services. With tensions now de-escalated, Pakistan’s airspace has been fully reopened for all commercial aviation activities.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has restarted several international routes, particularly to Gulf countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. In addition, numerous domestic flights are once again operational, bringing much-needed relief to passengers affected by the recent disruptions.
However, some private airlines are still experiencing operational challenges, leading to occasional delays or cancellations. Passengers are advised to stay updated on the latest flight schedules by directly contacting their respective airlines or checking official websites and travel advisories.
This development is expected to gradually normalize air travel in the region, although complete stabilization may take a few more days as airlines adjust their schedules and logistics.
Note to Travelers:
Check with your airline or travel agent for real-time updates on flight status, as changes may still occur depending on operational conditions.
