Pakistan Actively Monitors Indian Drones with Advanced Air Defense Systems
Pakistan’s air defense systems are maintaining heightened vigilance amid increasing drone activity near the border, particularly involving Indian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, every drone that attempts to enter Pakistani airspace is detected and monitored in real-time using cutting-edge radar technologies.
These advanced systems are specially designed to detect even small UAVs, ensuring that no aerial object goes unnoticed. They are integrated with responsive protocols that activate immediately if an object poses any risk, especially in sensitive zones. Civilian areas and regions close to commercial air routes are under constant surveillance to prevent any potential threat or mishap.
DG ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully equipped and ready to counter any aerial threats. The air defense mechanism is not only reactive but also proactive in assessing and neutralizing possible incursions. This ongoing vigilance reflects Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its airspace and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
Security analysts suggest that monitoring drone activity is becoming increasingly critical, especially with the rising use of drones in modern surveillance and military operations. The ability to detect and neutralize such threats in real time is a testament to the strength and preparedness of Pakistan’s defense infrastructure.
The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan remains fully alert and committed to countering any hostile attempt to breach its airspace. These measures serve as both a deterrent and a protective shield, reinforcing national defense in a rapidly evolving technological era.
