Dubai Launches AI Academy to Train 10,000 Future Leaders

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, inaugurated the Dubai AI Academy during Dubai AI Week 2025. The launch marks a major milestone in the city’s ambition to become a global leader in artificial intelligence and technology innovation.

The Dubai AI Academy aims to train 10,000 future leaders in AI by collaborating with world-renowned institutions, including Oxford Saïd Business School, Udacity, and Minerva Project. Through these partnerships, the Academy will provide high-quality education focused on practical AI skills, leadership, and ethical AI use.

Located at the Dubai AI Campus within the DIFC Innovation Hub, the Academy’s programmes are tailored for professionals across government, education, and business sectors. The curriculum will cover key areas such as the responsible use of AI, strategic implementation, and future-focused leadership in the digital economy.

During the event, Sheikh Hamdan also witnessed the signing of several key partnerships aimed at supporting start-ups and innovators. These initiatives align with the broader Dubai Digital Economy Strategy, which seeks to create a strong ecosystem for tech-driven businesses and ensure the city remains at the forefront of global innovation.

With the launch of the Dubai AI Academy, Dubai reinforces its commitment to shaping a knowledge-based economy and empowering the next generation with cutting-edge technological skills. By investing heavily in AI education and innovation, the city is set to further solidify its status as a major global center for technology and smart governance.
