Hajj 2025: Pakistan’s First Flight Departs on April 29
The Hajj departure phase for Pakistan has officially commenced, with all necessary arrangements finalized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The first Hajj flight is scheduled to depart on April 29, marking the beginning of a 33-day operation.
A total of 342 flights will operate under the government’s Hajj scheme, transporting approximately 89,000 pilgrims to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. The last flight is expected to leave on May 31. During the initial 15 days of the operation, the majority of flights will be directed toward Madinah to ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims.
Several airlines are participating in this massive logistical effort, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Serene Air, AirBlue, AirSial, and a Saudi airline. These carriers have been tasked with managing the large influx of travelers from various cities across Pakistan.
On the first day, April 29, six flights are scheduled to depart from multiple cities, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Multan. Each flight will carry excited pilgrims who have prepared for this important spiritual journey.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has emphasized that all arrangements—ranging from immigration procedures to accommodation plans—have been completed to facilitate a seamless experience for pilgrims. Authorities have coordinated with airlines, airport staff, and Saudi counterparts to manage the travel and reception processes efficiently.
This year’s Hajj operation highlights Pakistan’s commitment to providing excellent service to its pilgrims and ensuring that the sacred journey is undertaken with utmost ease and care.
