As the region’s leading pop culture festival, MEFCC continues to grow in size and influence. The event has become a flagship attraction, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a rising global hub for entertainment and creative tourism. The long-term commitment aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, which aims to diversify the emirate’s offerings and attract millions of visitors annually.
MEFCC offers fans an immersive experience, featuring appearances by international celebrities, exclusive merchandise, fan meet-and-greets, cosplay competitions, and much more. With participation from over 400 brands and ambitious goals to welcome more than 50,000 attendees in future editions, MEFCC is poised to elevate its global standing while driving cultural exchange and tourism growth in the UAE.
The partnership between DCT Abu Dhabi and Informa ensures that the event will continue to bring world-class entertainment to the region, supporting the emirate’s broader goals of economic diversification and positioning Abu Dhabi as a premier destination for pop culture and live events.
